Does Dr Kleiner name his computers?

I was recently playing Half Life 2 and i was paying close attention to find things i may have missed before. Sure enough i found this (See attachment)
Note the words, Carmel, and Mesa(Possibly a reference to Black Mesa?)

What does this mean? Does he give names to his computers?
Or is it simply the names of its previous owners?
