Does my motherboard support this RAM?

I just read through my motherboard manual (Asus P4s800), and discovered that under qualified RAM vendors it does not state Corsair.

I already have 512 RAm (Samsung, which is under the vendors list). If I bought a corsair 512RAM chip would it have problems with my motherboard?

Also when I'm buying an extra 512 chip what should I be looking for so I don't screw up my computer (ie: if I have a PC2700 RAM, do I need to buy another of that kind).

Thanks for any info.

In short.... No.

As long as its compatible ram the manufacturer doesnt matter to much.
Most likley its just marketing....trying to get you to buy a certain brand.

Like if you buy laundry detergent....."be sure to use X brand stain remover for best results".....Its BS.
