Does this happen to anyone else?

I'll double click a server as to join but it brings me to server info first. the ping will be say... 64. It will proceed on to 1024 and then 2000 and THEN it will start loading the server. also does the favorites list work well for anyone? in 1.6 it'll say that like most or all of them were not responding. I don't have any favorites for Source yet.

Happens to me sometimes, usually when I join the server just as it begins switching maps.

For the favorites: Never has happened for me, unless they weren't online or my firewall was blocking them of course. :|

If I open Counter-Strike, the Favorites tab works fine. But if I just open my Steam client, the Favorites tab (under Servers) doesn't work at all. I'll add a server, then the next time I start Steam it's gone.

Yeah, the favourites list when run from the steam options is rubbish. If you leave the favourites list open, run cs, and go into your favourites there, then exit cs, the favourites list will then have the servers on it
