Doing a good DEED

Hey guys i just finished putting together some furniture for my niehbor, and it felt so great doing so. let me know whats the last thing you did for someone. :) If you are going to do something let us know. Yeah i know what your thinking we need more people like him the world. ;)

you're a good man Alan - an inspirtation to lazy bums like me. :) last good thing... I have to do 10 hours of community service (volunteer work) every year so I helped out at a thrift store.
 
Good on you. There are an awful lot of people I know who take advantage of my good nature and I'm always doing stuff for other people (I find it really hard to say no), whether it be something simple like writing a movie to disk for them or something bigger like going over to their house at my expense and sorting their shitty PC out, which can take a whole day sometimes.

Probably the biggest thing I did was visit my Grandad pretty much every day for the 7 years before he died because hardly anyone else in my fairly large family would. That didn't feel like a chore though because I loved my Grandad very much.

WOW thats Very nice of you to do that, im sure he appreciates it till this day.
 
I did a good deed a few weeks ago, I ran over a possum.
 
Hmmm...what defines a so-called "good deed?"
 
I'm always ready to offer my services. In fact, once I "serviced" this young lady I met on the street....

self-sacrifice and making others happy
i'm always trying to do whatever i can to help others... but i just hate it when some start to take advantage of you :(
 
I like helping people. I'd go into detail the feeling I have when helping someone and making them happy and feel good about themselves...but I'm not.
 
In essence aren't good deeds a really selfish act in that regard lol? I mean doing something for someone else, which in turn makes you feel good. That is pretty selfish depending on your point of view lol. (I am of course JOKING!)
 
I bet that bar cart breaks.. :)

The last good deed.. I don't even remember, but at least I haven't done anything bad.

Not very specific but;
A Good Deed.

You can tell if you've done a good deed as it usually gains you some belief and your hand and Temple go a lighter colour.
 
Good deed? what are ya crazy? people dont do good deeds these days, its 2005 for chrissake!
 
Well um, i keep helping people in WoW ;>

Oh yeah and i put about a dollar in one of those donation for something boxes in a pizza place

my last good deed: I held a kind of a riot in a site with aboutr 20-something people and finally got what we wanted. then got banned. ;(

another one: i helped my friend solve some math problems.
 
Im in boyscouts so I do charity events a lot. But not as often as i should. I once walked for 24 hours in a cancer walk. BTW u r a good man alan!
 
I haven't done something for anyone but my self in a long time, almost forgot what a good deed is :(

I give blood regularly. Plus if people have random problems / requests i usually do my best.

Yeah , when i went to drop it off she gave me $15 she wouldnt let me leave with out taking it . lol

I think thats the kind of situation that calls for knocking them unconscious and running away. Don't worry, its still a good deed in the end.
