Ok here's my beef. Our house hold is on the do not call list and it has been great. Practically no solicitors have called us since it was enacted. But as the election rolls in I have had at least 3 calls a day...what gives these ****ing politicians the right to call even though we are on the do not call list. Why do they not have to abide by it? My brother said "well maybe it is because they are not selling anything." And even that to me is bullshit. They are SELLING THEMSELVES. They should not have the right to bother me with their annoying calls.

Well there are two ways of doing things:
the geeky way: set up a spam bot to spam their email :O
the GTA way: RPGs and shit

Something I like doing is setting up an answer message that goes on for ages as if your actually speaking to them. Have it so it seems like your being distracted, and then start shouting at them, leaving pauses and butting in, show em what its like to talk to a machine. Works well with banks too.

phones suck, but what I really hate is cell phones. and the people who use em vast majority have no understanding of etiquette. talking while hanging out with friends, etc. really obnoxious.

Sucks about the election calls, I don't think there's really anything to do about it. Depending on my mood I either:

1. Threaten them.
2. Make strange beeps and stuff to make them go "WTF"
3. Say "K, I'm voting for you bye"
4. Hang up.

Over here our celebs are too tight to make recordings, so instead they just send letters out to everyone, supposedly hand written.. though how they all seem to have the same handwriting and manage to use a ballpoint in the same way as an laserjet printer is a new one to me
