whats the name of those programs where i copy the cd to my hd so i dont have to put it in everytime i play a gam?

Just type in google;

"half life" "cd crack" (including quotes, change your game/prog)

You usually have to overwrite the main .exe (thing to launch game) and i can't see it being illegal.
