I was changing channels and steped unpon universal channel and there was going to show men in black and ghostbuster

I barely remnber ghostbusters,I think I was 7 when I first saw it on tv

dam I would like more channels to do this

TBS does that (a channel in case no one knows) ALOT, but they are a "family network" so they edit out every god damn word, the worst word they say on that station is damn or hell. They play so much good movies though, but the movies end up being crappy because of their stupid editing..

A station that also does that alot is the Action channel, they don't edit anything out, but the bad thing is, most of the movies they play are old ones. Old movies = not very good video quality..

I hate watching movies on public TV.

They destroy everything, either to fit the film into a time slot or just to edit the **** out of them.

A&E show good movies once in a while but they don't edit everything out like stupid TBS.

One thing TBS is good for is weekday mornings at 7:00 when they show Saved By the Bell :D

They used to do that on UK televsion, to edit out profanity (This was the 80's and early 90's). They don't seem to care anymore. What I do hate are adverts coming on every 15 minutes

Really? They never edit films on UK television.

Lucky bastards. The only way to get an unedited movie here is to get the premium channels or watch certain channels at 1am.

Comedy Central's editing is fun because sometimes they will only edit "hole" out of asshole.

Stupid America and the parents thinking, "OMG THE KID KNOWS A 'BAD' WORD!"

Seriously, who's job is it to say "These words are bad words". I think not being able to say shit/****/bitch is just retarded

so what wrong whit that? that adds some exotic feel to the movie and help to establish the age it was filmed

Well, sometimes it's fine and I don't even notice it (like the first Predator movie), but sometimes it annoys the hell out of me, like the first Lethal Weapon movie.
