Doom 3 Multiplayer Demo

Okey so, John Carmak, or at least id software, has a tendancy to release demos of there games sometimes before the game is even released.. do u guys think we'll be seeing a multiplayer demo anytime soon? We know they have one (recall Quakecon 2003)?

what do u guys think (personnaly that Full experiene coming soon thing has got me wondering)

I don't think they will. Steep system requirements will mean that people with less than adequate systems will download it and realise that they can't play it, and that would put off a potential sale (they may have bought it praying to the god of computers that some sort of tweak will allow it to run)

On the contrary, i think posting a demo and people seeing that they can't play it will push them to buy new systems... And they game is begining to look rather promissing so people will probably want it.

A playable demo has the most impact when it's released close to the full version. Since we won't see a full version of Doom3 before April, my rough guess would be that we have to wait till at least February before a demo appears.

I don't know when they would do it. Might not be for sometime.

I quite sure I read somewhere that Id said there would be a demo. I can't remember the specific link tho.

I doubt it, it's not like they need the extra attention.
