Anyway, the Doom 3 trailer is awesome. It is just like a movie trailer in more ways than one.
 
Wow. If that trailer doesn't make you excited for this game, you have a problem.

I can't recall a game trailer that has made me so excited for a game.
 
I love the last line
"Anticipation, after all, is everything." That pretty much sums up all of the Doom 3 experience so far.

I had a whole Half-Life flashback, especially with all those scientist foreshadowing doom all the while you're walking down corridors (not to say anything about anybody ripping of anybody) [Peace sign].

PS: Going for 300 post tonight.

wow, they should try not scaring the living shi* out of me. Did you hear the whispers in the background? I have no idea how I'll finish this game if the trailer had me looking over my shoulder lol :D
 
I'll have to play this game with somebody in my room, that being hopefully my girlfriend to calm me down ;).

I want to play it in the dark. I actually got a bit scared when I watched it. When I saw the Imp crawl over the floor. I don't think I'm used to things crawling in FPS games, so I won't look at the floor that much.

I jump really easily, so I get really nervous when I think somethings going to make me jump, which makes it worse. I can imagine myself jumping all over the place.

I wonder if they're going to put that as a trailer in movie theatres...That would be pretty awesome to watch on a big screen :)
 
Video games always look AWFUL on big screens. Don't do it, id!
 
Ya, Gamecube had an advertisement before a movie today... it even managed to make Metroid Prime 2 look like wang! :eek:

But I think it had Rob Zombie music playing along with it, so it was all good. :)

Hmmm...Now that I think about it, you're right. The Pandora Tommorrow trailer looked pretty crappy in the theatres. But Doom 3 is so largely unknown (to casual gamers,) they need to get out the news somehow.

What are you talking about, if you go to a High School or, even better, a university and have any kind of social contact there, you can't not hear about HL2 and Doom 3: well at least at U of Toronto.

Are you kidding? It is really well known. Everyone knows id, and if they don't, they are fwarked.

Jeez, go away on a trip for a week, come back and it's nothing but Doom3 love around here.

I'm talking about my ignorant friends who don't keep up on any games besides Halo 2 :p Believe me, none of them had heard of Doom 3 until I told them about it...which is pretty sad, actually :(
