Doom 3 on a Voodoo2

It kind of looks like a really ugly version of Half-Life. :) Nice find.

I dont think it looks that bad. It actually looks fairly decent

i think the game looks better when its bright..

yeah fair decent considering how old that video card is.
i am actually impressed that the game actually runs quite frankly :p

Looks like Quake2, I bet I could try it with my VooDoo 5, I would get 60fps :)

and who said graphics doesn't matter in a game?

it would be 8 or 16mb.

google it.

8 or 16 mb?

my videocard is 32 so if Doom3 run on a 16 mb videocard it can run on a 32 (but my videocard is not voodooo)

Wow lmfao. I wouldnt play the game like that ever.

it could be 32. 32mb card's came out around the voodoo2 "evil king" time, so it probably is.

yeah, he says so in the first post.

and RJMC, amount of video memory does not promise performance. compare the 256mb Radeon 9200 to the 128mb Radeon 9800. The 9800 has far better performance.

Now its all about pipelines and chips, there was a time that all that mattered was the MBs.

I recall when thr 64MB where the SHIT !

Voodoo made great cards, if they were still around they would probably be better than ATi/Nvidia

yeah.. 3DFX always gave a good bang for the buck value on their video cards... i miss em.. :(
i hope a third company can stiffen the competition for video cards.
