Following the New Doom 3 System Requirements? article bAbYhEaDcRaB posted yesterday!
The site have a reply from Editor-in-Chief Thilo Bayer at PC Games Hardware and they also have some news from GamePro regarding co-op play for the Xbox version of Doom 3!
Hi Guys,
I have to apologize for all the mess concerning the doom 3 article in pc games hardware.
first: the interview is ripped off out of the context of the whole article (3 pages).
second: the system requirements that are quoted from the interview are misunderstanding. id software is totally correct in saying that they are not true. the problem is that you have to delete words like "at least" or "minimum".
what we like to communicate are not minimum system levels - obviously these are not determined yet. our focus was on full detail gameplay.
in addition, the interview was offered by a freelancer and came it last minute. it's a big pity that we didn't eliminate the faults in there. i just hope that id software and all the guys that are keen on playing doom 3 accept my excuse. i hope that doom 3 sells a lot of copies.

and next up GamePro have thrown up a recent interview they had with the guy's that are responsible for porting Doom 3 to the Xbox.
