Doom 3 Why No Servers?

I just purchased Doom 3 agian and went to go online and there were only 3 servers and i have the newest version 1.1 patch can anyone help me out. is there somthing i forgot to download. thanks Alan.

Shouldnt there be more servers.

thank you all thanks lemon king thank to everyone, first i want to thank ID software for making it impossible for me to find servers and i want to thank halflife2.net for there support , finally i want to thank valve for making games like HL2 so i can forget about doom3 thanks agian good night.

Yea, it's really really bad.

But my first guess to your problem is that you're using a pirated/cracked game...or you actually bought it and there's just something wrong with your network settings or something.

Are you using a firewall/router? Try opening the client port.

Oh my ****ing god.
Doom 3 MP is great, It's tense and very fast-paced.
So if you like Quake-style games...Try the MP.
And no one's even suggested this yet...because their Anti-Doom 3 switches were turned on but use The All Seeing Eye whenever you try to find game servers, cause Doom 3's ingame server list is really FUBARed. :thumbs:

Quake3 MP feelings is same as DOOM3, except for D3 got graphics...etc

Members on this forum are Valve lovers. they Don'e believe in any games except for Valve's ones.

doom3 mp would have been good IF they would've disallowed permanent run and shortened the sprint length....then allowed more turning off/shooting of lights and more places to hide

i think it would've been excellent if they would've made the multiplayer something a lot slower and more tense

me and a mate played it this way by both turning our runs off and hiding around...believe me it makes for a MUCH tenser match

many people dont like Doom3...When i played it MP a while back it was unbelievably laggy - never experienced anything like it and there were also few servers...oh well!
