Watched it, but mainly for the nostalgia. I remembered every single level, well what little was actually shown. I forgot about the sounds the Mancubus made as they fired their weapons, and that awesome little sound the Arch-Vile made.

God I need to get the PS version of Doom/Doom II. I simply can't play an fps with keyboard only anymore.

Well, thanks for letting me know it was a fake. I was watching it and i was thinking either this guy needs a job or a demending girlfriend. Anyways, I just watched it since I never saw doom played and watched to see what the fuss was about. Half-Life 1 being my first computer game, I really can't have that nostaligic fondess. Hope that Doom 3 doesn't include the time needed and the monster's killed. Makes the game feel to arcady.

I was kind of amazed... this one was better than HL because it didnt exploit as many glitches, onlya few.

The fastes level beat was in 8 seconds! holy shit.

And I kept laughing when he'd shoot himself with a rocket and nearly kill himself

He would be trying to attack enemies that stood in his way (he usually just ran past but sometimes they blocked) but when he had rocket launcher he would just shoot them point blank

did it? i wasnt paying attention to level times at the beggining... but the first level isnt really a level its so simple...

There's a reason for that. It's the Doom equivalent of rocket jumping.

You know I nearly had a heart attack because I misread the title as "Doom III beat in under 15 minutes". I had an awful mental image of a game so brilliant as to rewrite every rule, a game that overthrows the genre completely... but lasts less than a quarter of an hour.

The only game I've ever been good at speeding through is Metal Slug... nothing impressive, but I always had a knack for avoiding violent death, especially on less crowded games like Metal Slug X. Wonder how long it'll be before we see speed-record attempts on the likes of HL2...
