german audiences will have the same version of Doom3 as the rest of the world ...meaning no green blood, no robots because:

"Reason for this is that the game doesn't reward overkill, isn't cynical concerning murder, violence isn't encouraged and there are no splatterscenes..."

it will have a mature rating

Well you are killing zombies and demons. I don't think you will be killing humans at all. Killing humans is the big sticking point with most FPS games in Germany.

It will have splatterfest's.. in one of the doom3 trailers you can see some creature being gibbed to a skelleton with guts and gore.. plus you have some shots with zombies with half the face gone and openripped guts..

Im glad i live in UK. Man the german rules seem a bit harsh, sometimes the violence and blood and stuff makes a huge difference to the game. Doom3 would'nt be Doom3 with green blood and robotic zombies.

So you can even shoot a baby in a game in the face while your mother is watching everything and magically, by just explaining to her the baby was a zombie, she would pat you on the shoulder and telling you she is proud..

How do you get those things to work? I downloaded all of them and when i open one zip it asks me to find another .rar file

Just right when the clip runs - the first zombie gets wacked by a shotgun blast....if you look closely you can actually see gray brain matter flying.....NOW THATS GORE!!!
