I am Pretty new to mapping and i am having trouble with some doors i have created. I wanted to make some glass doors that could be destroyed and blown off the hinges. I had a go and i soon worked out how to make some physicsbox doors and every thing was ok. i also added the func_breakable glass in and everything was still going swell. The doors were functioning reasonably apart from me getting stuck on them ocasionally. (i haven't worked out how to make them open completely smoothly yet ). I recently learned how to do the Func_breakable_surf glass and i thought wow this will be cool for my doors. Unfortunetly to my dismay on compiling my map i walked up to my previously friendly door and it flew wildly across the room when i touched the second one it flew straight into me and damaged me. I was bemused and after several hours trying to work out if i had done anything wrong i came to the conclusion that the source engine just dosent like breakable_surf glass being moved? please can someone show me im wrong and fix my lovely doors.
In order for you to see my problem i have created a small room with the offending door in it and also one of my previously working doors in it. these doors are identical in settings except for one contains breakable glass and the other breakable_surf galss. You can download the vmf below.
Any imput on how to fix or improve the functionality of my doors would be greatly appreciated
