Earlier today, the Dota 2 team announced via their Steam Community group that regional leaderboards for matchmaking rankings will now be made public. The leaderboards will show the top-ranked players sorted by their MMRs, and will be divided into four geographic regions:
  • Americas
  • Europe & Africa
  • China
  • Southeast Asia
To be eligible for appearing on the leaderboard, a player must have official player info on file, and must have accrued 300 lifetime matchmade games, 100 lifetime solo ranked games, and 15 solo ranked games in the past 21 days (in the same division). The leaderboards update daily at 22:00 GMT. There is no global leaderboard because each regional division is on a different scale, hence comparing MMRs across divisions would not be statistically meaningful.
