Monkey boy's at the freezing point!

Bush was acting to reverse prices that have soared above $3 a gallon in many parts of the country and are contributing to a new low of 32 percent in his job approval rating, according to a CNN poll.

Maybe it'll offset global warming?

Oh, how I wish...

but this makes me very happy. He may not be worthy of breathing my air, but at least now he can cool my drinks!

wow, i sure do trust polls... not

the only thing i even come close to trusting is a census

$3 a gallon, lucky gits. In the UK we pay about $6.50 a gallon :frown:

QFT.

The prices in eastern europe are outrageous compared to US prices. That's why everyone there drives a tiny 2 seater.

it's very frustrating when Americans get excited about the price of their petrol. Take the blinkers off guys, the world has been supporting your economy for too long.

Well, to be honest its not all their fault. The united states economy and transport infrastructure was built around high petrol usage at low prices, mostly when they were self-sufficiant in oil.
The main reason that high oil prices dont hurt europeans so much is that a higher proportion of the cost of petrol comes from tax, rather than the price of oil.

Oh, I'm sorry. Do you work 40 miles away from your home? Can you afford to live in a big city? Can you afford to live in a rural area with a rural job? Most of us can't.

I think I'm gonna have to quote an episode from Jon Stewart in this one.

Bush's father, his approval rating bottomed out at a 29%.
The president still have 3 more points to go. And we all know he'll do anything to outdo his father.

well, I don't know, maybe going down in history books as a second nixon.

I infact study 300 kilometeres away from the place I live, and I take a bus to go there. And I do live in a big city. I usually get around using a thing called public transport. You see unlike you americans, the rest of the world is consious about the pollution and ineffiency of going around in gasoline guzziling SUV's. Plunderin and cheap goods just aint the way it is in the rest of the world. Wake up you goddamn californian. Two thirds of the world find it hard to buy food for their families and your there complaining about about a few extra dollars out of your pocket. Typical. Your hearts are all made of green.
