How long does it take CS: Source to download, for lets say a DSL 256k connection?

It's just under 1GB, so it could take all day for you. Maybe around 8 hours, possibly more. My maths isn't that good, so someone will have to check that for me.

Ok good, 1gig ususally takes 7-10 hours for me

256kbits/sec DSL
= 256,000bits/sec
= 32,000Bytes/sec
= 31.25KB/sec
= 31,007sec to download 1GB
= 516.7minutes
= 8.6 hours for 1 GB download on 256kb/sec DSL*
* given that your speed would not drop above or below the bandwidth as well as there are no server problems on STEAM's side
...and yes I feel dorky for figuring that out...correct me if i am wrong...may have divided wrong somewhere with the GB/KB 1024 stuff
