Dr. Green = Alyx's mother?

Is Dr. Collett Green (from ps2 version of half-life) actualy Alyx's mother (the picture of the Vance family makes Alyx's mother look like Dr. Green). Maybe Dr. Green kept her original last name because her scientific work was done under that name.
