i used corel painter and a wacom intuos 2
hope you like it. would be nice if you give me any comments

an angel. not ready yet but i made some mistakes and cant correkt them. :dork: but i dare to show you :)

glass

i use Max 5.1 service pack one for a week now in a seriouse way. i mean i stopped making shiney teapots :p
here is something i wanna show you, would be cool if i get some constructiv critics
(sorry for bad english)

Looks like some good stuff so far, keep up the good work. For one crit on the glass, the base seems small compared to the top and the brim could be a little big. Also, you might try sloping down the bottom of the cup part a little. This is all just in relation to the wine glass I'm imagining, if you have a different kind in mind, that's cool.

this is what I'm thinking of sorta.

yes i know what you mean. you are right. i gonna work that out
thx for the crit. maybe you got any idea how to fill the glass with some wine or water maybe? pls be kind iam a noob :)

(this 3ds max really has a lot of buttons...)

Well, I don't know much about 3dsmax, but here's a pretty generic explaination. basically... you want to copy the polygons from the inside of the glass, and use these as the outside of the liquid. I don't know how to do that in 3dsmax, but in lightwave you could just copy the points, the create a simple polygon from it, and lathe it. I'll show you what something I'm whipping up looks like, in a sec.

no problem mate.
sorry what is a gutter? i only know a beergut

the tut looks good
(3dsx max still gots so many buttons :)

a gutter collects the rain that comes down the roof and dispenses the water onto the ground through a tunnel on the side of your house.

hey, nice work,

just one problem, in all of the images, the eys look out of place, they look wrong.... i don't know why, i cant put my finger on mit, but they are wrong...other than that good work

thx for the reply stone.

yes i kinda feal what you mean. actually for me hands and eyes are the most challenging part when drawing. i need more practic. The Pic. with the girl and the LK initials, i dont know when its finished, maybe i should rework the eyes

I think it's the shape of them, and somewhat the spacing. A good technique I heard of was the space between the eyes is the length of the eye and the space between the eye and the edge of the face is half the length of one.

yes what essex said is true...

but the main thing you've got to remeber with eyes, is that they portray the soul of the character...so you should be able to take the eyes out of the pivture and view them on their own and they should still give the feelingws and personallity which the character reprosents....

plus if its a girl they have to look damn sexy too :P.
the sketches look nice. it wud help if the lines were cleaner instead of the bluryness u have atm. u shud take some time and redraw the lines unless thats wht u were going for in which case trying coloring it :D
