Just got this today and watched it all (god bless the lifestyle of a student).
It was thoroughly enjoyable and I liked it more than the Budokan DVD mainly for one reason - you could tell the audience were there (no empty wings and interaction from the crowd). Also this gig had a more entertaining setlist; Budokan seemed like a technical showcase, whereas in this gig the band were having fun.
They were playing fantastic as usual (not too sure on Petrucci's sunburst music man, but who gives a shit what you play when you can play like him!) and the orchestra made the event extra special. I've yet to try out a surround sound setup with this DVD but I'd like to because the orchestra seemed quite quiet on the stereo mix. The end of Octavarium live with an accompanying orchestra was pretty awesome.
The documentary is realtively interesting but nothing that you couldn't find on the net (bar some early Majesty videos). It is quite nice to see them revisiting their college and hear about their early beginnings from their own mouths. The bonus tracks are ok, but in nowhere near the same quality as the main feature.
Only one thing pissed me off - there was a person with a spinny LED thing in the crowd and when the lights went down at the end of the second set it was all pitch black in the audience bar this spinning light. Stupid tosser. Anyway, it was a good watch with excellent muscianship and performances. Go buy it if you're a fan of Dream Theater!
edit - lmao better give it a star rating, as the above reads like an amazon review
