No, your windows will be the regular, non-64 bit version. Dont confuse this with your 64 bit processor. :)

pisses me off that i just spend all this money on this computer and it cant run bf2 without any glitches. is there anyway to see if something needs to be updated or what do i need to do?

Your computer should run BF2 perfectly fine.
Have you scanned for spyware/adware? Virus scan? Defragged your hard-drive?
And yeah, you want the regular windows XP drivers.

Shit my x800 GTO is blurping hardcore because of my drivers. shit happens. Doesn't piss me off really...only thing that pisses me off is the fact that my drivers don't even install correctly >_<

According to my clan mates the Beta drivers for nVidea ain't good with BF2, grab these here instead

i have that one installed. its werid because it will lagg at the start of the map but its almost like it has to warm up

I had that- your settings are too high, or you should turn off/lower shadows and shading settings. It will lag as it is trying to load these, and if they are more detailed (i.e. higher setting), it will lag worse.

Yeah, with my 9600XT I would trie some medium settings, but would get some pretty random frame loss issues. I don't get those anymore :D

I had everything on low though with my 9600XT
