Drivers for my Radeon 9600XT?

Just a quick question: I've heard pretty bad things about ATI's software and drivers and such, and this is my first Radeon card (I've always had a GeForce in my PC til now). Which drivers do you guys use? Do you download software from the manufacturer (Asus, Hercules,...), from the ATI website directly, or do you simply use whatever standard drivers WinXP deems fit to steer your Radeon with? Thanks.

ATi have cleaned up their act when it comes to drivers now, they're equally as good as what nVidia can produce nowadays. Just get the latest from http://www.ati.com

ATi did used to suck major wang with thier drivers... but those days neem long passed
