Dual Channel V.S. Single Channel Memory

Is there a big difference if i run my memory in dual channel or single channel. When i run in dual channel my memory speed drops to 157Mhz because the Cas is different. Anyways i was wondering if it would make a big difference with my Amd Athlon 64 3500+?

It isn't a LARGE difference but there is a drop.
Although running 157Mhz might be just as slow. hehe

Grab a program like Aquamark3 and run it at 157Mhz then try single channel memory and try it again. See which gives a better score.

If I remember right, Aquamark3 is memory intensive so hopefully you will be able to tell which is better.
