I have set my system up to use 2 monitors. Its a 9600SE card with latest catalyst drivers and hydrovision.

Anyway, the way I want to work it, is that I have the primary window for normal windows, and have steam games appear in the secondary window, so in effect, the second monitor is only used to play games, whilst leaving the primary free to view chat programs and irc and so on.

I have been trying for the last few hours, but whatever I do, steam shows in the primary window. I have tryed going to window mode, moving it over to the second monitor and going fullscreen again, but it pops back up on my primary.

Anyone know how to achieve this? I have tryed all the settings I can find in hydrovision and advanced visual properties and I also downloaded UltraMon, none of which seem to allow it. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - Link

*Edit - Just realised I should mention, the reason I want steam games on the secondary is because I run statbar (www.statbar.nl) and so far I have failed to find a way to have that show on the secondary monitor. Other than that, everything shows up on secondary fine, so if someone could tell me how to make statbar sit on the secondary screen, that would be just as cool. :)

Why not have the secondary monitor view these chat programs and irc and so on...
That's what I do.

By the way, did you try to right-click on the little screen in display properties/settings and change primary monitors?

lol, your post went up the same time as my edit.

The reason I want games on the secondary is because I run statbar and that refuses to display on anything other than the priamary monitor.

Basically, I can move all windows manually, except games and statbar, and typically, they are the 2 things I want to be on seperate monitors. My question (Bit more clear, sobered up a bit ;)) is, does anyone know how to make either statbar or steam games display on the secondary monitor?

Cheers for the reply asus, appreciated.
