if i get a server mother board with 2 xeon pro, plus all the bells and whistles like cid card, would it be a good gaming machine /swoons over 6ghz pros

or.. should i go with a dual amd setup = all bells and whistles, this is in farrr future

A lot cheaper and most likely better for gaming then dual Xeons.

Dual processors aren't intended for 99% of games. Therefore, you'll see no performance gain in most games with 2 processors

You cannot add the frequency of the both CPUs.
Dual CPU GHz != GHz CPU1 + GHz CPU2
You should notice that in the benchmarks and what tasks actually can take advantage of Dual CPUs the best.
If you multitask a lot, dual CPUs also will help though.
Do you edit photoshop images and play games at the same time? hehe
You might encode a video/DVD while playing games though.
