Dude fly's with jetwings, like in really fly, not just extended freefall bs

They should make a new version of jetman where you play as this guy.

Very cool, surely this will find some military use too which is unfortunate, as it's just meant to be fun. :D

Everyone should have one of these.

Want.

Imagine flying to work then parachuting through your office window. I'd never get tired of that.

Wasn't there another guy who built a flying machine like this awhile back? Or is this the same guy?

*checks thread*

TO INFINITY... AND BEYOND!

*rechecks thread*

I am seriously suprised no one has said this

Many technological innovations for civilian use are originally just made practical from military gear. (GPS systems for example) Sad but true. :(

I keep reading the thread as "Dude's fly" and thinking its got something to do with a penis zipper. Damn misspelled title!

That looks awesome :O

Hope he's got a quick way to ditch that thing if something goes wrong.

Imagine what that is like to fly like that. He didn't seem to completely 'blown away' though. Maybe he was a little sick after showing off.

and people... the spelling nazi's are coming

Dude fly's with jetwings?

Dude flies with jetwings.

AHA! so they say Roiters.
Yeah, seriously, I always thought it was Rooters.

Flying jet man was pretty cool. Would've been cooler if he had been able to start his flight from the ground instead of jumping out of a plane.

I take objection to your use of apostrophe in fly's.

I take offense from your use of the word "objection" in that poorly worded sentence.

I take offense from your use of the word "objection" in that poorly worded sentence.

I take exception to your objection to my correct use of objection in a properly worded sentence.

Google Books catalogs 699 published examples of the phrase, take objection to versus only 130 examples of, take offense from. So either Kyrnn knows English better than those 699 authors (700 if you include me), or he has no basis for his comments.

I used the word apostrophe in the general sense. It's the same as use of comma or use of semicolon.

I always would have written it like this:

use of an apostrophe
use of a comma
use of a semicolon

Is that wrong? or are both acceptable?

That is awesome on an unprecedented scale.

I predict a demographic explosion of morons trying to copy the man, though.

They are both acceptable but have slightly different meanings. Using a or an is more specific, not using a refers to general use.

:|

Also, I always thought it was "rowters". Like a modem.

I saw a video that had the same "Reuters" animation intro thingy a while ago, and I was the same...I called it "Rooters"

The more you know!
