I bet there are a few people here who love Dungeon Keeper 1. As you know, it is almost impossible to get the game to work on Vista or Windows 7, no matter how much you mess with the compatability tab etc. I did some research and found out a way to make it work, so i decided to make a video so other fellow Dungeon Keeper lovers wont have to spend hours trying to get the game to work.

(sorry for my weird accent, if i have one lol)

Does anyone know how you can record videos ingame? Fraps simply wont record at all, and other programs get inverted colors. I see other videos on youtube of the game, so there must be a way! I asked some of them but they never reply, or they just say "fraps" without further explanation. I just cant get it to record :(

I've seen tons of guides on how to do it on Vista/W7.

XP64 is the hardest...

I haven't found a way to do it besides using Virtual PC. Which I can no longer use...

So I'm shit out of luck.

Are you using XP64? Try what i did in the video, maybe that will work for you too hopefully.

Btw, anyone know how to get the multiplayer to work? Would be awesome to have a one-on-one game with some members here.

I can't even run the DK setup.exe

I double click and basically nothing happens.

Is there anything else I'm supposed to do besides just installing the toolkit?

Go to 4:54 in the vid, it will explain

I had to play DK in the Dosbox about two months back, but if this works in Windows then I am gutted, because now I can't find the fecking disk
