So, who is planning on picking this game up? Im quite interested in it and it's suposed to be coming out soon. I really like the first one except I think they made one flaw with the multiplayer. They made it so your characters were saved on your computer, so everyone cheated. Hopefully they'll make it so your characters are saved to the server instead. I think that would really boost the multiplayer gameplay.

What about you guys?

I'll be playing, most likely. Enjoyed the first alot, it was like neverwinter nights if you had too much of a headache/too sleeply to play nwn.

Hopefully they'll be releasing it soon. I like how they're making it more cinematic and adding skills and item sets. Sounds kinda like Diablo II lol. Overall it's bound to be a really fun RPG. It'll hold me over for a while if they would just save the characters to a server lol.

As long as it has more actual RPG elements in it I will be happy to buy it. I didn't enjoy the first one too much because it didn't take long before it just turned into a repeditive hack and slash game.

Dungeon Siege was pretty good. The cheating didn't bother me, because I only played with a few friends.

DS was great fun online :)

Some more rpg elements would help break up some of the combat. It was good - but got a little tiresome at times.

I didnt like DS that much, it become very repeatative. I hope DS 2 is more fun, il get the demo at least.

Aslong as they make it less hack n slash :)

But simple hack n slash is what makes it Dungeon Siege. If they try to add more role playing elements, they'll probably just fail to satisfy the hardcore RPG players as well as the older fans of Dungeon Siege. So I think the best solution is just to stay on the classic formula: more levels, more items, bigger monsters

i havent played the first one, got thrown of by the title, but after playing WoW im gonna try the demo..

I enjoyed DS, Multiplayer was better than single player.

They could still do that - but have more story and characters for those who can be bothered :)

I really liked the singleplayer of the first one... lookin' forward to the second! Don't care about how good the multiplayer is... that's what World of Warcraft is for!

Bah, I can't stand WoW. This game is going to pretty much be a Diablo II clone lol.

My brother and I called DS the 50 dollar screensaver.

If the second one requires more of a brain, and has more RPG elements I may buy it.

No it won't. Dungeon Siege was different enough and they are building off that, it'll be quite different.

I didn't mean it in a bad way. They aren't going to be JUST like DII but they take some of the greatest features from the game and mix it with their own. It's definitely going to be better than the first by far.
