Duplicate product code Error(installing HL2 for the second time)

Hello, I need help in installing half life 2 for the second time.


Previously i have instaled this game on my comp and didnt have the time to play so I have deleted it. Now when I want to play this game an error ocured Duplicate cd-key.

I have a steam acount and I have loged in sucefully, but in the My Games tab there are no games listed and I cant add a game befor I install it, When I try to install the game I enter my dc-key and theis (Duplicate product code. The p. code you have entered is already registerd with an existing steam account and is therefore invalid.) message comes up.

I have also instaled Counter Strike and used a diferent steam acount coz my account didnt work but I am sure that RAT327 is the account wich I used to intall HL2.

Please help..... I want to play this game so bad....

Perhaps you could open a support ticket with VALVe (https://support.steampowered.com/) and tell them your story. Provided you have pictures of your game with CD key showing, they should be able to tell you the name of the account it's registered to.
