DVD burning

hey does anyone have a link to a resource website with info on burning dvd's or know what software(s) are the best for copying/burning dvd's? i'm also trying to backup my vhs's on dvd, but i'm worried that i'll get that fuzz/color change that you get when you try to copy from one vhs to a blank one (stupid b/c the tape gets worn out and i cant find the tapes anymore)

Nero is pretty much complete for burning any kind of data, audio, video, or DVD files.

yea i have nero, but does it work for ripping the vhs/dvd onto my hdd? or can i just "dubb" it onto my dvd r's?

I don't think Nero can rip the DVD onto your hard-drive. But there is plenty of free softwares that do it.

And I don't really understand what you mean by "ripping the VHS onto your hdd". Correct me if I'm wrong, but you would need a special piece of hardware to be able to do that.

Yeah, get one of those video capture gizmos. Unless you have vivo.
