I'm going to orgasm when I open the box and find one CD, it will be like 1998 again. I'm so sick of 4 install discs. Long live the DVD.

I want the DVD but my DVD drive is messed right now :( so maybe i will be getting the normal version or order a new DVD drive with the Collectors edition :) we will see

/me wishes he would get a DVD player for his computer.

Yeah, too bad there won't be a DVD one when it's first released... will there?

*Tredoslop dies seeing that there is SOME contraversy about DVD.

My HP that I bought at Circuit City 3 1/2 years ago came with a DVD drive. How can you not have one? You playing on a Commodore?

*Tredoslop raises hand
Someone whispers to Tredoslop: He(?) asked if you HAVE one
*Tredoslop keeps hands in the air
Actually I don't have a DVD dealie but I don't need one.

Zx-81..........

this will run HL2 OK?........................LOL

Same interface? If you mean you click a button and it ejects then yes. If you mean whether a standard DVD-ROM can make CD-R's....no.

I currently have an Alienware Area-51 3.0C, 1GB Dual DDR ram, R9800, 2x120GB Seagate Barracudas, SB Audigy 2 and a shiny paint job. <3 <3 <3

wow, what a loser. You got ripped off. Next time, dont buy a prebuilt.

I might add that Lite-on drive from newegg is very nice, fast, quiet, cheap. Triple Threat.

Most DVD-roms run CD-roms, DVD-roms, CDRs, and CDRWs, the only thing you won't use it for is burning stuff. Thats what a backup CDRW is for:cheese:

Seriously, DVD drives are mega cheap, most falling into the 30-60 dollar range.

I hate 4 discs setups, because I always misplace one of the disc somewhere in the black hole called my house, where it is never to be seen again:x
