OK i have a X800 pro and i wanna make sure i have everything plugged in correctly to get the best possible picture. My card came with a VGA to DVI Connector. So right now its plugged in like this --- VGA from the monitor to Dvi in the PC or do i do the other way around. Dvi from PC to VGA IN PC.

I have VGA AND DVI Inputs In my monitor and pc so whats the best setup to get the best picture quality. Thanks

Personally, if you have an Analog (VGA) monitor then I would just plug it in the Analog (VGA) port on the monitor. I don't think the DVI port would be any better because as soon as you put an Analog adapter on it you are back to ....Analog with more adapters...which might have more signal interference.

If you had a DVI monitor then DVI for sure! You'd want to stay digital.

The best setup would be to have a DVI to a DVI on your monitor. Using an adaptor would just defeat the purpose of having a DVI port because you would switch back to analog.
