Dystopia is a cyberpunk themed mod being created by a talented team which you can learn more about by clicking this link. They released three great renders tonight of some of their player models, the Corp Light, Corp Medium, and Street Bum.[br]
 
Wow, looks great, especially the second model.
 
Just FYI, the 3rd model (the bum) is an NPC, not a player model.

hehe, just imagine, a squad of killer bums!
 
Wow best player models I've seen so far. Excellent job man.

One question, whats up with the feet on the third model? That looks sort of like HL1.

We're trying to keep the poly count for our NPC's down to ~1000, yet still have enough detail in the faces that we can animate them with face poser. Unfortunatley that means his bagshoes don't get much detail.

the second model is impressive. The bum, however, could use a little bit more detail on the feet :) Other than that, really cool job

ahh I see. Lower the poly count the higher ammount of npcs on screen? I guess I wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of those guys running around hehe :D
 
teddy, your not saving all too much by giving the guy boxes as feet, they should atleast be a bit more feet shaped, not just blocks stuck to his ankles. also the fisrt guy, his neck is too small and whimpy compared to the rest of the body, beef it up a bit.

Looks good but i agree with the box feet and the skinny neck comment.

I love the masamune-esque mega-thighs on the middle modle. Sweet.
 
wow, I don't make comments on these things, but I think this post warrents one.. that 2nd model is so damn sweet.. nice job..
 
excellent, but making the feet more foot looking would jsut add about 10 polies to the model. ill take that :)

those are superb, they had ingame weapons like 2 months ago from the site. the site has all kinds of goodies on it. really anticiapting this mod

Corp Medium would look better if the armor was of a consistant thickness, in my opinion. His feet look pretty vulnerable.

But I love your work and will probably love your mod.
 
I really like the second model... but ! why a blue kind of armor, I think it would look better whith a metal armor, scared etc. (dont listen to me.. sorry for even trying to comment on the fantastic model) great job guys ! :D
 
the first model is awesome!

altough the second one has the 'soiled nappy' look lmao!
