And I apreciate yout "to the point " answer, but usualy when we tell people that "I can do better" normally we have something to prove, so I would like to see what you can do Six Three.

You asked for input, I as a general gamer responded. If you want me to play your Mod, make it interesting and not so bland. Make the concept original.

It is quite harsh, but it is getting quite boring around here and in the hl2 mod community in general. So I can kinda see why your doing this

Damn guys, thats a little harsh no? We're supposed to be here to encourage the community, now honestly how many of these "other" mods do you think will actually reach beta? Maybe this one will, maybe this one will be a hell of a mod, maybe we should encourage creativity, but not to the point that we discourage potentially great games from being created. If a mod comes to these boards looking for support I say we should stand behind them %100, otherwise the hl2 community won't last as long as we'd like.
I say the models look ace my friend, get some textures on there and make them pop! Don't let these kind of "bland" comments discourage you, instead, let them push you to improve yourself and blow the naysayers away when you release! Good luck!

I agree with him... At this point, there's nothing to gain by telling someone that they're using guns that another mod is using. So what? If that's all you have to say about it, don't say anyhting at all.

I did nothing wrong. I just commented on what the guy said. In my opinion the hl2 mod community is quite bland. Because the game will be so popular you get loads of noobs wanting to do this and that (not saying he is one of them). But it just gets anoying seeing the same old shit...

For contructive comments the sig could do with a better smoothing structure and I can't see much of the dragunov.

Concept:

Great Britain & America go head to head with China & ? (Being reworked)

Recon/Scout (Rifle with laser sight/scope or Sniper rifle, sidearm, knife and NVG)
Machine Gunner (Machine Gun, sidearm, knife, extra ceramic plating armour)
Medic (Light rifle, sidearm, knife, first-aid kit)
Demolitions/Engineer (Light rifle, sidearm, knife, demolitions kit)
Radio Operator (Light rifle, sidearm, knife, radio equipment)

Each will be equipped with unique weapons and equipment.

Additional Info:

The game will be aimed at orientating around teamwork. The game will be round-based, much
like Counter-Strike. Where you die, and must wait until all your team dies, or the opposing
team dies, then a new round starts.

I rest my case. Its up to people what type of mod they make. But why do this when you could do something better?

Well, the SIG is quite wrong... it's a mix of the 551 and 552, means it has the handguard-length of a 551 and the holes of a 552. You'll have to decide.

In some way you all have a point, there are a lot of people out there that make mods with the usual “ My mod is the most original one “, unfortunately those one almost never reach beta. But with the team we have currently, I’m confident that we will make it , but also, if you guys just diss some one work saying is shit and the usual "my mod is better" well no wonder why people fail, I think that we should all support the community.

It's just that it takes a lot to impress people nowadays when it comes to guns. I hate alien sci-fi weapons so I look forward too seeing some kickass models of anything but the m4 or AK 47.

The model of the drag looks ok. Couldn't see the sig, page wouldn't open. Keep em coming though. WE would like to see the skinned ones too
