Well, I bought an external hard drive and its both USB and E-sata capable and I figured that the usb would be fast enough but if i wanted more speed out of the drive I would have to figure out how to connect a sata cable up to my laptop, and that is where the problem lies.

I do not have any sata connections on my laptop so I would have to get some sort of adapter. I have found some but I am curious as to how well they would work. I have found ones that would fit into the expresscard slot on my laptop which seems like it would work pretty good something like this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2254078&CatId=1455 Seems like a decent deal to me....

If you guys have any input on how good you think this would work or anything that would work better I would definatly like to hear it.

Well, they go in different slots. If you have a PCMCIA slot then you get the one you linked to first. But if you have an Express slot then get the 2nd one.

I have both slots on my computer, the price isn't too much more than the other one....I think that I will get it.

Thanks
