i remember them say that they hadnt shown any DX10 footage yet, all footage shown was DX9

If that DX9 than DX10 = shens

I think it looks better than UE3. Probably the coolest effects I've ever seen. And it's still DX9! The trailer was awesome, but one big question is: we see the player lift the piece of metal off the guy, but was that a scripted event or can we pick up anything of reasonable weight with our hands like HL2? Oh and a male suit voice just seems... wrong.

Male suit voice seems wrong, do you guys know why they use female voices in airplanes etc in the military?
Because it's been proven that most people respond more to a female voice due to mother bonds than to a male.
Pretty cool.

Yes, it's a game, the engine is Called CryEngine 2.
The releasedate has been set to fourth quarter this year, I'm guessing if it isn't delayed, we'll be seeing it around November or December.

Interesting. Looks damned good, and the gameplay looks fun. Voice acting was crap mind. Still, I'm not expecting an outstanding shooter from Crysis.

It was supposed to be a launch-title for Vista, funilly enough, Vista was delayed.. However, Crysis is/was not!
