The first one was awful IMO - terrible gameplay, although it did look good. Not getting my hopes up for this one

I actually liked the first one quite a bit (on PC). It was loads of fun to see what sort of wreck you could get into to make your driver fly out of the car! Of course, I only bought it when it came down to $19.99 and I will likely do the same with this next one.

i bought it when it went down to 20 bucks as well, i still play it every now and then, love the physics! wish they could redo demolition derby 2 with havok physics and updated graphics.
