E3's X-360 fake!?

turns out all the demo x360 consoles were turned off to fool people into thinking they were playing on the new console.
in reality the x360 isn't nowhere near ready to be used let alone taken into production.

the demo's up for play at E3 were actually run from apple G5 computers hidden away in the cabinets!

Its really no secret that Microsoft often uses macs, they even make some software for it.

It was just a sarcastic comment that wasn't meant to be taken seriously, but I was referring to the way your interest/excitement grows until the 360 is announced. Then it decreases until it's revealed that it looks mediocre. You know, you predict the future.

It's just that your labels are in the wrong place.

Like I said in another thread...this could mean game devs can finally possibly create a shitload of more games for the mac.Only reason why I haven't switched to the mac yet is due to very few fps games on it and no hl2.

It's one of the big reasons why apple doesn't have a lot of marketshare.

funny you should say that ..a few years back I switched over to pcs for those exact reasons (6 years as a mac guy) ...I think gaming will hit apple in a big way in the next few years ...Jobs has offered companies development money if they'll make games for the mac

hmmm that's a risky move ..I mean all the other players have been in gaming for years ...apple has never gotten over the stigma of macs not being built for games (I disagree, some of my fave games were on a mac) so this could possibly go either way ...just hope it doesnt turn out to be like their gaming console that never made it to the consumer

all the best ones get ported ...but usually 1-2 years later ...although some games like D3 and WoW had near simultaneous releases with pcs

Well thats what I'm talking about...Instead of having to wait a few years, actually make them available for macs the day they get released.Make it mandatory or something that all games be supported for mac and pc on the day that they're released.

Also hl2 hasn't got ported yet.

Also apple should really get rid of that ****ing one button mouse.Thats another thing that puts off PC people.

Well that's because apple kept that no gaming type mentality like you said.If they was to actually fully endorse gaming and so on...hell even sponser some clans with powermacs.Also...steam...they can fix that to run on unix or something.It might cost a lot, but hey it would be worth it.
