Heh EA is increasingly looking like one of those sleazy used car salesmen selling you crap you dont want/need:

Xbox Live members can now download the following premium in-game content for ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour ‘07’:

Unlock Golfer:-200 points
Pro Shop – 300 points
Maxed out Player – 200 points
Sunday Tiger– 240 points
Unlock Courses – 200 points

hahaha, nice pic

and I really don't care about the crap they're selling because if you buy it you get what you pay for, and you should know what you pay for before you buy it :p

what's worse is that if you play the game you unlock the stuff for free

...EA isn't to far away from where I live,I should visit them with a broad sword :D

Surely there are push button codes from the internet too?

no they've removed codes

I heard EA was doing something similiar with another of their sports games ..you could purchase jerseys/teams/players without having to unlock them yourself ..just in case you didnt want to play the game but wanted all the stuff that comes from ...playing the game

*Prepares for 2nd Game Industry Crash*

Bite now suckers!

Yeah, if no one supports this, there won't be a good business reason to implement further idiocy in the future--so nobody buy into this rubbish!!!

That is abuse of the points system. I wouldn't mind buying new cars and maps for a game, but to by cheats is a complete scam.

My brother once made me pay money to get the singleplayer cheats for Populous: The Beginning, when I was eight years old.

I payed over €10, but luckily got the money back later.

Damn bastard.

That is so lame. Pretty soon you wont be able to play a game without paying each time. EA = cottonheadedninnymuggins

Strangely I have no problem with this. I mean, as long as they don't start removing those unlockables from the main game and making you buy it, who cares? If EA can make some more money off of really, really stupid people ... good for them.

Thats what its going to get to though. As soon as they see that they can get more money for the same amount of work, we are going to be playing per level.

EA and Valve are like complete opposites. Odd how they're Valve's (boxed) publisher.

This is the now the right time to sell my bestest idea evaaar to EA / microsoft / Intel. The next generation of required PC gaming peripherals is going to be a coin slot that sits in a drive bay.

Companies have been selling cheats for years. Those cheat phone lines are expensive.

That's basically it...they'll require a Credit Card number, but the effect is the same. We'll have to rely on hackers to play games we already paid for.

Please, bring on the Game Industry Crash, when giants crumble and console companies fall!
