EA pitching "The Sims" to Television

could be interesting.

edit: How the hell are they just trying to make money off it? If you dont like it.. dont watch it.. its not costing you any money..dont be ignorant. plus why would they NOT try and make more money and popularity? they are a busienss you know..

having a 'normal' business model in the gaming industry is bad. your supposed to lose money, and make games perfect.

:)

Wait a second...all reality TV shows are out there to make money (hell every movie, and TV show is out there to make money)... Why expect anything else?

Er.. wait.. I still don't understand the premise of the show. Watching people play The Sims for a 30 minute/1 hour time of the show?

Didn't Koreans use to watch people play StarCraft on TV all the time? Seems like the same thing here.

At least you can watch StarCraft to admire the tactics and skill of the participants. I don't really see how The Sims could be all that exciting a TV show. Then again, people also watch Big Brother, so maybe they are making a good move, at least business-wise.
Yes, but Big Brother is REAL people who aren't programmed to react in a set number of ways.

On the next episode of The Sims:
Don't miss it as Jon's bladder meter empties and everybody makes horn sounds.

Big Brother here we come - although it may be a step up - The Sims act more lifelike and lively than those 'competitors'/"celebrities" (hahaha) do...

Still crap though

Here how it plays out, it's kinda like big brother, only watchers call into the show and thus decides when the people in the show gets to go pee, eat etc, read it like almost a week ago in the local magazine, sounds funny.*Calls into the show "I want xxx to have sexual relationships with xxx2!"*
