When you consider how much it costs to put stuff up on eBay when I see shit like this it pisses me right off. I wouldn't mind so much if they were isolated incidents, but fact is they aren't.

While its downright sleazy he does say specifically that he is not selling an Xbox. Anyone stupid enough to actually bid on it kind of deserves to lose their money so they know to actually look at what they are buying.

What you say is true, but (and I've been guilty of this in the past too) a lot of users for fear of being outbid will quickly read through some auctions downright missing out entire chunks of information and thats the type of person twat's like him are doing things like this for. eBay should have people monitoring auctions to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen basically.

Yeah to be honest if they don't read it, then they deserve it.

I don't buy from ebay anyway \o/

its stupid but if you fall for it then its your fault

erm... it costs like a dollar to put something up.

if only.

I sold a phone on ebay a couple of years ago.

The phone sold for like £99

The listing fee was about £1.50

The final value fee was about £5

and finally PayPal took £3.40 ish for their troubles.

When you consider all that money goes to eBay they're almost like 'The Management' taking a 10% cut.

However much I know that it's a fake, my mouse keeps wanting to click "Buy Now"

Odd...

Ok, you didnt have to use PayPal, so don't say eBay sucks for PayPals fees.

And in USD it costs about $3 to post something, which isnt really much more than a single dollar at all.
