Just looks to sketchy to me...

Im looking to buy a data cable for my cell phone, its an LG scoop. They kinda screwed me over when it came to custom pix and ringtones. I cant use phonezoo with it because the firmware blocks every thing that wasnt downloaded from their site.

I need a data cable for it along with this other software and drivers and so forth :p

I need help knowing whether or not any of these sellers are trust worthy. I mean.. they kinda look like scams but I dont know. the cable im looking for cost like 20-30 retail ( probably over priced to all high hell for profit :p ) but on ebay its only like 4 bucks. If they are as good as they say they are.. this would be awesome.

so can i trust these sellers or what?

Buy from people who have a couple thousand positive feedback entries and you're pretty safe. Anyone considered a "power seller" is almost certainly legit. eBay isnt as full of scammers as people make it out to be. To be totally safe, just read the description and make sure it doesnt say "sold as-is" or in any way hint or say its nonfunctional.

Anyone with 80,000 + positive feedback for example is not a scammer.
Is that not completely obvious or were you absent when they were dishing out logic?

The good scammers will steal accounts from trustworthy sellers. They can also use multiple accounts and proxies to give themselves high ratings.

My mother has been selling stuff on ebay for at least 7 years, it's how she makes money. Combine it with my dads job, and we live comfortably.

I've bought things from ebay for my phone before, I bought a handsfree kit which fell apart and was refunded without return and I bought a charger which works a dream and was like .. ?3 rather than ?20.
Basically, you gotta read the feedback, read the negative especially and decide how much of an idiot the guy who left it is. Most ebay sellers I've come across are fair and friendly.

Were you absent the day your mom taught you the lesson of;

"If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all."

As for eBay, I have had good luck with them so far myself, though truth be told, I have not ordered a whole lot of items. Like the general line of thought here is saying, make sure they have a large positive feedback score.

As with anything purchased online, there are always chances you take. But then the same can be said for in real life as well. You take a chance simply by "driving" to the local electronics store if you decided against buying anything online.

From that link alone, I'd trust most of the sellers on there. Don't find it strange if you find electronic accessories for 80% less on eBay. It's completely normal. I use eBay on a regular basis, and I can't even begin to imagine how much money I've saved versus buying retail.
