Email spam help!

one of my outlook accounts gets on average 30 spam/virus emails a day (thanks to a forum mod who gave out my email address to someone who felt I was a little too vocal in my objections to the war in iraq ...not at hl2.net)


how do I stop them from overtaking my email account ...everytime I open outlook I have a huge list of emails to dl ..90% are spam ...the filtering system on outlook is just freakin crap ..it does nothing

Use Thunderbird or get a different e-mail address.

Our @halflife2.net e-mail addresses get loads of spam every day. I use Thunderbird though and it automatically filters most of them into a junk mail folder. They still get downloaded though. It's an adaptive junk mail filtering system. It won't be great from the get go but it learns quickly what's junk and what's not.

Nah, Mailwasher is the ultimate anti-spam software.

It automatically detects spam before you download it, and lets you bounce it back and blacklist the sender.

Excellent program, I used to use it all the time before I changed my email address.

After he got access to the database he deleted all the data from the spammer’s database, deleted all user names and passwords to the database and changed the database’s admin password.
