Embarrassingly bad Left 4 Dead mod on sale on Steam today

Apparently being a Source engine game automatically makes you eligible for distribution on Steam because otherwise why is this going on Steam when Valve are notoriously picky?

It looks like a knock off Left 4 Dead made in the Quake engine.

That's weird.... my initial reaction was that it reminded me of the old Heretic PC Dos game from yeeeeeaaars ago. Looks a bit... pants, really.

It's not unreasonable to assume that a Source license guarantees you distribution on Steam.

Clearly it's a pretty low budget game, but I dare say there are worse things buried in Steam somewhere.

The biggest problem is the games that don't make it onto steam.

Just to be clear: I'm not saying it looks like the worst game ever. I'm just saying it looks like a game that would have come out in 1999 and then everyone would have forgotten about it within two years.
