embedded ads in forum postings

This really cheeses me off. :flame:
Look at this:

Now go to my posting, hover the cursor over the words "Wind.. XP":

and see if you have the same popover. How is this done? It is not in the source of the HTML...

If you want to get rid of them you can try blocking them with adblock or your windows hosts file.

It is in the html source, at the bottom of the page there's a script loaded from vibrantmedia.com which is the ad company. The script checks the text on the page for certain words and adds popups/links to them.

I have adblock - thought I had seen it all, but this is insidious.
