Hey guys, please help me save a few bucks and time.
My pc has been having heating problems latly, BSOF, rebooting etc etc. If I wanted it to play, I had to take out the vent and put my heat sinker in the refrigerator (hehehe).

Yesterday it was constantly crashing and rebooting, when I try to turn it on this morning...nada, capoot. It turns on, fan works, but nothing comes on the screen, I don't even hear the Beeep from the mobo. I tried anything, I just don't want to bring it to the tech guys, in Mexico it takes weeks to get back your pc

Grrrr, who moved it to the tech forum ? Can' t you see this part of the forum is dusty ?

It's probably either Heat or a part (such as Memory or Powersupply) is going bad.

Try getting a can of air and blowing your case out. Make sure you get any dust out of heatsink. Hold the can upright so it does not drip. FYI vacuumes are static prone which is bad. Have you removed your CPU heatsink at all? If so, you should make sure it is on correctly and you should reapply any pad/grease.

Last if you have the manual for the motherboard or computer, look up where the Cmos reset is on the board and try that.

And welcome to the dusty basement that is the HL2.net hardware forum. ;)

Make sure you don't have too much thermal compound.
