Emily Rose = New Hawtness

There was nothing hot about that at all.

I saw a commercial for it on TV, and it scared the shit outa me.

These commercials for horror movies piss me off. If I want to get scared shitless, i'll go watch the movie, but hell, don't make me want to turn on all the lights and pull my legs up onto the couch while i'm trying to watch a documentary/mythbusters.

If she does the whole head spinning with vomit coming flying out of her mouth it would be the biggest rip-off in movie history. Looks alright but it's been done before and chances are that it isn't as good as the exorcist.

its scarier because its based on a true story imo...

Pfft, it's all marketing, whenever I hear "Based on a true story" I learn to overlook it.

Is this the girl who claimed to be possessed by Hitler?

Another film that tries to pretend demons are real. Fantastic.

Best rant ever (in this thread)

Also, this really did happen. The girl died during the exorcism and the priest who led the exorcism was arrested and put on trial for negligent homicide. The girl's name was Anneliese Michel and it happened in Bavaria in 1976. Whether you believe in possession or not, it's an interesting story. I read that the movie will focus on the priest's trial with flashbacks to the exorcism

How is it confusing? I found his post funny, then I responded to the people who don't believe it's based on a true story with a link to the story
