Empire Earth II - Anyone gotten it yet?

I want to get this game. I liked the SP demo and EE1. The only problem was that the MP demo crashed like crazy on me. I'm hoping and assuming that they got that sorted out, but I was wondering if anyone had similar problems and if the full version has those problems.

i played the demo, but wasnt really too pleaseed with it. to me it just seemed like another generic rts game with no new features. in the era when games like rome total war, company of heroes, and age III are revoloutionizing the rts genre, i can see alot of people simply forgetting about empire earth II, but thats just my opinion

No, I do agree with you to a large part about EE. I'm just hard up for a new RTS to play now. I don't think as it stands I'll take the chance on this game without knowing if my CTD bug is fixed or not. I'm really looking forward to "Empire at War" I think it's called. The new Star Wars based RTS due out this year. Looks like a step forward at least. But Age 3 is definitely on the top of my RTS list.

Did he ever have MP demo CTDs? I couldn't play for five minutes without it crashing.

If you would have payed a little more attention to it and gave it more of a chance, you would see that it is actually in it's own little world with an amazing amount of customizbility. I mean hell you could make units walk 10x faster if you really wanted to. Though in the actual design, you would see...it is by far one of the current best RTS's out there.


So yeah Fish get the Patch for the Demo....I mean hell without it I would crash at the lobby.

Anyway once I get my job, and I have wireless($400 intial fee for everything) this will be a game a get aswell as saving some money to build up my comp.
(Im making my own comp from scratch. Total it equals about $2300. Almost all bought from newegg, though the PSU will be bought from Ultraproducts)

Anyways hopes the patch helps you out!
