Empires Mod Beta 1.01

The recently released popular modification Empires has just been updated.

Empires 1.01 Beta is now available for download. Both clients and servers will need to download this update. The main focus of this release is to fix bugs, reduce lag, and make a linux server available. The client is only available in a 6 meg patch which requires Empires V1.0 Beta be installed. The server is a full install in the form of a zip file that both windows and linux users can access.

I didn't seem to have much of a problem with leg really. This is compared to the ungodly HORRIBLE lag there was before where the game was unplayable...
There's still a number of errors around, but it's a beta.. so... give it time.
But there is definitely much less lag.

Fantastic. The lags reduced.
Now it's ganna be harder to get my homework done.

More than likely, the FAR future, but a bright and joyous future none the less.

I hope to install the patch and try it out soon..but so far, it's sitting there in my downloaded torrents folder...wasting away Sucks that I'm too lazy to open a freaking file.
